Guy de Fontgalland, Founder and Managing Director

Head, NIDI Operations

Guy de Fontgalland is Founder and Managing Director of NIDI. He is Harvard University (USA) educated and has worked internationally for over 35 years, with banks and multilateral institutions such as the World Bank/IFC, the UNDP as well as the Offices of 3 Prime Ministers. He is an investment banker and development strategist and oversees NIDI operations. His career in banking and strategy spans across some 20 countries in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Prabu Nadarajah

Resources Development

Prabu Nadarajah is Executive Director of Suvadi and is a qualified medical doctor, engaged in creating and operating social enterprises throughout the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. He works collaboratively with NIDI on many projects and lead-manages seaweed farming technology development, processing of Moringa leaves, and has initiated a number of enterprises ranging from duck farms to English language education in a number of schools. With Nidi, he heads the Resources Development Sector.


Social Enterprises

Shribavan is a director of Suvadi and is a qualified medical doctor, working on a number of social enterprise initiatives in the Northern Province. He has contributed substantially to the development of seaweed technology and worked on many social enterprises at grassroot level. With Suvadi-NIDI operations, he is currently working on rural medicine delivery, rural health education and nutrition projects. At NIDI, he heads the Social Enterprises Sector.

Shah Mansoor

Global Communications

Shah Mansoor is director of Global Communications and is based in New York. Mansoor is a capacity development specialist with focus on education, capacity building, training and mentoring, team building, communication and youth development. He has over 15 years of experience working in senior positions with the government, U.S. Embassy, USAID, private sector and international organizations.

Mansoor holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Schiller International University in Florida, U.S. and a Bachelor of Information Technology form Preston University in Islamabad. He has also participated in executive training programs at both Harvard and Stanford universities. At NIDI, he heads the Global Communications Sector.

Nino Ositashvili

Assistant to MD

Nino Ositashvili is Executive Assistant to the Founder and Managing Director. She has been involved in the planning and launch of NIDI. She holds a Master degree in Communications and a Diploma in Management from BTEC, London. She speaks several languages and provides critical support to the Managing Director in all aspects of relationships with corporations and institutions in Europe.

Jekhan Aruliah

Education Consultant

Jekhan Aruliah is a Cambridge University graduate, with a degree in natural sciences. He spent over two decades in the Information Technology industry, which included ten years managing offshore software development for British companies in Sri Lanka and India. Jekhan joined University College London’s Institute of Education in 2009 and achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). At NIDI, he heads up planning and strategies for education development with emphasis on professions.

Nini Balrajishvili

European Relations

Having worked for government institutions as well as the NGO sector in Georgia, Nino brings a wealth of experience in managing institutional partnerships and collaborations, as well as assessing and improving program effectiveness related to proposed regulations, legislation or resources. Main directions of her work have included e-governance, strategic policy planning, and reforms in the EU framework. She is a graduate of International Law.
